A Personal Journey
Hi, I'm Lukas, a cycling enthusiast, and this product was born out of my literal pain point. After riding another 100km in one go with still kind of fresh legs, I had to stop due to neck pain and numb feet. I looked into professional bike fitting, wanting to enjoy my rides without unnecessary suffering.
However, a quick Google search showed me starting prices of professional bike fits at 300 Euros. Given that I ride an 800 Euro Decathlon bike, this seemed like a ridiculous price tag. So I just winged it - it got better, but I felt there should be a software-based solution for this.
Don't get me wrong - professional bike fitters have their place. If you're spending 5k on a bike, investing in a proper fit makes sense. But what about the rest of us? Do you really want to spend up to 30% of your bike's price on a fitting?
I don't need 100% perfect - I'm not Tadej Pogacar (at least not yet!). I need 80% correct. And that's exactly what we're building here.
